Dear Fellow Officers
Some of you may be wondering why I have been maintaining radio silence over recent weeks - be in the dark no longer. I have been away at the Utopia Planitia Ship Yards helping the design team knock up a new wave of Starfleet vessels.
The first of these top of the range vessels has been named the USS Crazy Horse, and quite rightly as the 'father of the fleet' Starfleet Command HQ, San Fran. has granted me a field commission and command of the Crazy Horse on a probational period of one week under the rank of Captain.
Indeed, no one at Starfleet denies the status of the Flagship Victoria, I felt the need however to have another vessel of dignatory standard, hense the creation of the Crazy Horse.
The ship is now docked at Starbase 308 awaiting orders - I have been authorized to take on any mission which requires the presence of a new Sovereign Class vessel - Admiral Bridge, Captain Hurst - can I be of assistance?
President Brannigan, we both know that the decks on the Magellan are a little cramped not to mention the broom cupboard on the Victoria - with the installation of my vessel size in many ways has become irelavant - quarters and resources have been set aside for you if you wish to come aboard - I have an opening for a First Officer.
