Needed: Branch Fundraiser

Samaritans are available 24 hours a day, every day of the year, to provide confidential and non-judgemental emotional support to anyone in distress, despair or having suicidal feelings.

It costs approximately £70 a day just to be able to run our service.

Could you support this vital service by becoming our new Fundraiser?

Salisbury & District Samaritans is seeking new Fundraisers.

The Fundraiser needs to have the ability to, or experience of, raising funds from the community at large, including local businesses, organisations and the general public. The post requires someone who is enthusiastic and self motivated and also enjoys working as part of a dynamic team.

The means of achieving this will depend on the fundraisers interests and local contacts and would consist of specific public supported events, sponsorship and direct appeals.

This role is extremely important to our charity and can be very rewarding and a wonderful opportunity to “give something back” to society. Legitimate expenses can be claimed.
